Dermatological news for September
ISD Team
In this edition of Dermanews, we focus on the latest advances in atopic dermatitis. We explore a key study evaluating the long-term effectiveness of Dupilumab, showing that many patients were able to extend the intervals between doses, though some had to discontinue treatment. Additionally, we discuss the growing antimicrobial resistance of Staphylococcus aureus in these patients and the importance of selecting treatments based on clinical context. Finally, we introduce an innovative treatment: Roflumilast cream, which has shown promising results in recent studies.
