Intro
In this course we will investigate the effects on the skin of the most decisive environmental exposomal factors: solar radiation, pollution damage and climate change. Based on this knowledge, we will analyze in detail the skin diagnostic processes and the prevention and treatment options associated with each pathology.
We will address the diagnosis of skin manifestations, from porphyria and urticaria to serious skin conditions, such as melanoma or xeroderma pigmentosum.
Finally, we will study the different treatment options to prevent and reverse skin damage: photoprotection, use of retinoids and light therapies, among others.

Objectives
Know the exposomal factors related to the environment and identify their effects on the skin.
Acquire tools for the correct diagnosis of photodermatosis, photocarcinogenesis and photoaging.
Put the knowledge acquired into practice and study the prevention and treatment tools with photoprotectors, phototherapy and other similar techniques.
The experience of learning with ISD
A small sample of the ISD experience. Discover the consequences on the skin of UV radiation, pollution, or the climate. Learn how to prevent and minimize them in our Expert Diploma.
