These terms of use (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) govern the access and use of the website https://internationalschoolofderma.com/ (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) made available by ISD to Internet users. The term “User” refers to any person who accesses, browses, uses, or participates in the services and activities of the Website.
Access to the Website implies unreserved acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree to be bound by them, do not continue to access or use this Website.
ISD may offer through the Website services or promotional actions that are subject to their specific terms and conditions, which will be made known to the Users in each specific case. If the specific terms do not address a particular issue, the provisions of these Terms will apply. In the event of any discrepancy between them, the specific terms will prevail.
These Terms may be updated at any time without prior notice to the User to comply with applicable laws and regulations, for business reasons, or due to changes in the functionalities of our Website. 3. Purpose of the Website, Access, and Passwords
ISD aims to inspire and empower Users through the dissemination of scientific content about the skin, including how to care for it, and to provide accurate and verified information about it. ISD's mission is to contribute to a world with healthier skin and happier people.
Additionally, ISD offers courses, diplomas, and master classes related to healthcare to Users. These courses and masters are subject to the limitations outlined in their specific terms at all times. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the specific terms and conditions of the courses and/or masters, the specific terms and conditions will prevail. For any inquiries related to them, the User should contact ISD at the following email address: admissions@isd.eu.
When using this Website, the User will find free functionalities that do not require User registration, such as browsing the Website, viewing courses, short courses, diplomas, and free master classes offered. Some of the materials and content published in the blog, as well as in any sections that ISD deems appropriate, are directed and accessible exclusively to healthcare professionals, as indicated by ISD. In this regard, the User is solely responsible for not accessing such materials and not using them. ISD is exempt from any liability associated with the above.
On the other hand, the User will find free functionalities on the Website that do require registration, such as accessing and playing the free master classes and joining the community of skin knowledge experts offered by ISD, as well as accessing ISD's blog where news about skin and ISD's initiatives and developments are regularly published.
The only functionalities that do require registration and payment are the enrollment in courses offered by ISD at any given time, subject to the relevant Enrollment Terms, guaranteeing the User access to their private profile on the Website from which they can access the course materials of the selected course.
In this regard, ISD reminds Users that to enroll in any course or register on the ISD Website, it is mandatory to comply with data protection laws at all times, and it is therefore prohibited to use and provide third-party data to ISD, even in the forms available throughout the Website. For more information, the User can refer to the Website's Privacy Policy.
As for registration, when required, the User must provide an email address and subsequently a password of their choice. The password must contain at least eight (8) characters and one (1) number. Once registration is complete and the account is created, the User will be able to view in their private profile on the Website the personal information provided, their academic and professional data (if provided), as well as the status of their course enrollment requests and their diplomas.
The User agrees to keep their password secret and to protect it from unauthorized use by third parties. The User must immediately notify ISD of any unauthorized use of their account or any security breach related to the Website's service that they become aware of.
ISD adopts the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of personal data and prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorized processing, and/or access, considering the state of technology, the nature of the data stored, and the risks to which they are exposed, all in accordance with the provisions of Spanish data protection legislation.
4. Proper Use of the Website and/or Intranet
The User must use this Website and its content in accordance with these Terms, applicable laws and regulations, common integrity, and public order at all times. In particular, but without limitation, the User is strictly bound to the following obligations:
- Not to use or misuse the content of the Website for illicit activities or activities harmful to the interests or rights of ISD and/or third parties.
- Not to restrict or prevent any other User from using and enjoying our Website.

- To comply at all times, where applicable and duly indicated by ISD, with the provisions of ISD's Guide to the Use of Teaching Materials & Academic Intellectual Property Policy, that is when the User enrolls in ISD courses or the User accesses ISD's blog news and republishes the same on third-party websites.
- Not to infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties in relation to the access or use of this Website.
- Not to circumvent, disable, or interfere in any way with the Website's security elements or elements that prevent or restrict the use or copying of any content or that apply limits to the use of the Website.
- Not to send or disseminate information, codes, or content that could reduce, damage, impair, or prevent normal access or use of this Website by any User and/or damage or harm ISD's equipment (such as servers or networks connected to the Website) or Users. This includes, but is not limited to, malware, viruses, and logic bombs.
- Not to express political or xenophobic tendencies.
- To always show respectful behavior towards the opinions and comments of third parties.
- Not to make abusive, defamatory, sexually explicit, or threatening comments.
- Not to make false, inaccurate, or incorrect statements or indications about ISD, its directors, its employees, the Website, or the content.

7. Intellectual and Industrial Property
All content of the Website and/or Intranet, such as, without limitation, the domain name, graphic design, structure and presentation of content, interactive features, source code (intermediate or final), software, logos, texts, articles, graphics, sounds, videos, illustrations, photographs, and other elements appearing on the Website, are the exclusive property of ISD or ISD has the necessary licenses from third parties for their use. Therefore, ISD owns the intellectual and industrial property rights derived from or that may arise from the aforementioned content, including content protected by national and international laws in force at any time. Regarding the teaching content offered in ISD courses, created by users (students) and/or corresponding professors, the pertinent users commit to strictly comply with the Guide to the Use of Teaching Materials & Academic Intellectual Property Policy published in the User's private profile.
ISD reserves the right to take as many legal actions as it deems appropriate to protect its legitimate interests and rights against Users or third parties who infringe ISD's intellectual and industrial property rights.
8. Liability Regime
8.1. Liability for the use and content of the Website
The User is solely responsible for any infringements they may incur or damages they may cause by using the Website and its content, with ISD, its partners, directors, group companies, suppliers, collaborators, employees, and representatives being exempt from any liability that may arise from the User's actions. Additionally, ISD is exempt from any liability arising from the User's non-compliance with these Terms.
In this regard, ISD will not be held responsible, unless expressly provided by law, for damages that may be caused by the use, reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation, or any type of activity that the User carries out on the Website's content without obtaining the necessary authorization from the rights holders.
Likewise, the User will be liable for any damages that ISD may suffer directly or indirectly as a result of the User's non-compliance with any of the obligations arising from these Terms, ISD's internal policies, including the Guide to the Use of Teaching Materials & Academic Intellectual Property Policy, and/or the legislation in force regarding the use of the Website's content and Intranet.
ISD will use its best efforts and reasonable means to provide updated and reliable information and content on the Website at all times. However, ISD does not guarantee the absence of errors or possible inaccuracies and/or omissions in any of the content accessible through this Website. In such a case, and if the User detects an irregularity or inaccuracy, we ask that you immediately contact ISD by sending a written request to the email address indicated in section 1) of these Terms.
The User is solely responsible for any claim or legal action, whether judicial or extrajudicial, initiated by third parties against ISD based on the use of the Website by the User. In such cases, the User will assume all expenses, costs, and indemnities incurred by ISD as a result of such claims or legal actions.
Likewise, ISD will not assume any responsibility for access to this Website by persons under the legal age required in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, with the sole responsibility of parents and/or legal guardians to exercise proper control over the activity and/or use of the Website by their dependent minors or for the submission of personal data without the prior authorization of their parents or legal guardians.
8.2. Liability for the operation of the Website
ISD makes its best efforts to ensure the availability of the Website and the safe browsing of the User. 9. Withdrawal and Suspension of the Website
ISD may withdraw or suspend the provision of Website services to those Users who fail to comply with these Terms at any time and without prior notice.
Regarding the limited access areas of the Website that require subscription or registration on the Website and the payment of the corresponding fees for access, ISD reserves the right to suspend or cancel the User's account and therefore access to their private personal profile for those Users who owe any amount to ISD, even in cases where the amount owed corresponds to a single payment in accordance with the Enrollment Terms.
10. Farmaindustria Code
ISD belongs to the ISDIN Group, a pharmaceutical laboratory that is a member of the National Business Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry (hereinafter referred to as “Farmaindustria”), an association that groups together the vast majority of innovative pharmaceutical laboratories that represent virtually all prescription drug sales in Spain.
By belonging to the ISDIN Group, a member of Farmaindustria, ISD commits to complying with the provisions of the 2021 Code of Good Practices of the Pharmaceutical Industry and thus ensuring that ISD's conduct is always ethical, professional, and responsible not only towards Users but also in interactions with healthcare professionals, medical organizations, and patient organizations.
11. Privacy
The User may send their personal data to ISD through the various forms incorporated for this purpose on the Website. The forms include the corresponding privacy policy, where Users will be informed, among other things, about the processing of their personal data, the purposes of the processing, and how to exercise their rights.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

ISD's failure to exercise any right provided for or derived from these Terms will not be interpreted under any circumstances as a waiver of such right unless ISD expressly and in writing waives or prescribes the action in each case in accordance with the applicable legislation.
