General Information on the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI)

What is Generative AI?
Generative AI is a branch of artificial intelligence designed to create or modify content. It uses advanced models to generate images, audio, video, and text.

These systems are trained on large datasets. To produce new content, AI models learn to recognize patterns and relationships within the data, based on specific instructions.

For example, we can ask a generative AI tool to create an image of a group of people or to generate a podcast featuring two voices in conversation. The images or voices produced may represent people, objects, places, entities, or events that—while appearing real—do not actually exist.

Why is it important to label this type of content?
We recognize that AI-generated content can be highly realistic and that distinguishing between real and artificial elements can be challenging.

At the INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF DERMA (hereinafter “ISD”), we are committed to the responsible use of artificial intelligence and strive to be transparent in our use of these technologies. It is important to us that when you engage with content created using generative AI, you are clearly informed of its nature. That is why we will notify you whenever our content has been created or modified using generative AI tools.

How does ISD identify AI-generated content?
Videos, photos, or audio materials published on our website or other communication channels that have been generated or altered using AI tools—and which may be mistaken for real content—will be clearly labeled with:
“Content created or modified with Artificial Intelligence.”

Our aim is to ensure full transparency and to keep you informed at all times about when and how generative AI has been used to create content.

When does ISD label AI-generated content?
Realistic images, videos, or audio produced or edited by ISD using generative AI and shared via our website, app, or other platforms such as social media will carry the label:
“Content created or modified with Artificial Intelligence,” or similar wording depending on the platform’s format.

Examples of labeled AI-generated content include:

  • A video showing two people in conversation
  • A podcast featuring AI-generated voices
  • An image depicting a group of people

In certain cases, we may use AI tools for other purposes that do not carry a risk of misleading users about the authenticity of the content—for example, to translate a text or generate subtitles for a video. In such cases, we will not include the label “Content created or modified with Artificial Intelligence” because we consider there to be no risk of confusion.

Lastly, we want to assure you that any content or text generated using AI tools by ISD will always be reviewed by human experts before publication.
